Job Description:

As a habilitation assistant, your responsibility is to develop and offer pedagogical support and services that contribute to an independent life, based on the client's needs and interests. You will act as a support in daily life regarding care, social aspects, leisure activities, health care contacts, etc. We work based on a common approach and pedagogical method to enable individuals to live as independently as possible. You will be part of a team where high demands are placed on cooperation, responsibility, and flexibility. You must be able to create and maintain good relationships with relatives, guardians, day activities, and other networks. Your duties include developing the operations, following work routines, documenting, and planning based on implementation plans.

Qualifications:

We are looking for you who have an adequate upper secondary education. The Care and Nursing program with a focus on disability, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Experience working with people with disabilities, knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and training in clarifying pedagogy. You should have experience working with low-affective handling. You have good computer skills and experience with documentation. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability as well as experience in the field, and it is important that you are engaged, pedagogical, and responsible. A valid B driver's license is a requirement.

Conditions:

Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts, as well as on-call duty with overnight stays. Annual working hours apply.
