A newly built group home for individuals with autism and mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, possibly in combination with psychiatric additional diagnoses, within the LSS target group 1.
About the Role of Support AssistantAs a Support Assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support the residents in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, basing our work on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for the residents to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with a high quality of life. As a Support Assistant, you will work based on clear pedagogy and low-affective handling to create safety and predictability in the residents' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget.
QualificationsYou are relationship-building, calm, stable, and able to maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a listening manner, and you enjoy working together with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Requirements:- Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
- Experience working within healthcare and social care.
- Secondary education such as Child and Youth Program, Care and Health Program, or post-secondary education such as Support Pedagogue, Social Pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.
- Experience in psychiatry, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and low-affective handling.
- Experience working with complex support needs.
Employment Type: Hourly employment
Working Hours: Day, evening, weekend, and on-call
Start Date: By agreement, we view it positively if you can start soon.
Collective Agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
