About the Position

The Functional Support department is looking for new employees. We are looking for you who, together with us, want to work to make the residents' everyday life understandable, meaningful, manageable, content-rich, and secure. An everyday life where the residents have the main role in their own lives. Basic methods used in the operations are clarifying pedagogy/pedagogical approach and low-affective handling. Working within Individual Support is a challenging and rewarding job where you get to make a difference in people's everyday lives.

Responsibilities

In the role of habilitation assistant, your responsibility is to support a more independent life based on the residents' needs and interests. You function as support in daily life regarding care, social matters, health and healthcare contacts, etc. You are a person who sees opportunities, has a positive outlook, and has a strong commitment to people. You will be part of a context where high demands are placed on cooperation skills and responsibility. You should also be able to create and maintain good relationships with relatives, guardians, day activities, and other networks. You will work with the methods of clarifying pedagogy and low-affective handling. In your assignment, you will be assigned a contact person role; you must document in Lifecare and write and work according to the customers' implementation plans.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a suitable completed and approved three-year upper secondary education in care and nursing, leisure leader, treatment assistant, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. You should have experience working in social psychiatry and low-affective handling. It is desirable that you have experience working with people with mental illness/complex needs.

You are computer literate and have experience with documentation. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement. We consider a professional and humble attitude and handling to be self-evident. You are positive and solution-focused, enjoy taking responsibility, and have experience with clarifying pedagogy/pedagogical approach/ACC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication).

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

A valid B driving license is a requirement.

Other Information

Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Your main workplace will be at one of our service residences, but since we collaborate with the entire Functional Support department, shifts at other units may also occur.
