Job Responsibilities

As a personal assistant, you will assist the user with tasks they cannot manage on their own in daily life.

The work includes personal care such as help with dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, transfers, delegated nursing care, and advanced nursing care.

Everyday chores such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping are also part of your job. The work is performed in the user's home.

Working as a personal assistant is a responsible job that offers personal development and brings much joy in return. You help create a meaningful everyday life for the user.

You assist users who have decisions on interventions according to the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). Your work is based on the implementation plan established to meet the user's needs and decisions.

The schedule includes day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

  • Trained nurse assistant (undersköterska) or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • We prefer that you have previous experience working with people.
  • It is important that you are computer literate and can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.
  • Experience with delegated nursing interventions such as tracheostomy (trach), ventilator, etc.
  • Personal suitability is highly valued.
  • Valid Category B driver's license.
  • A extract from the criminal record register will be required.

  • Working hours: According to schedule.
