We are now looking for residential support workers for our team this summer in Skattkärr, Andstigen, and Snäppvägen. We offer training and a developing job where you make a difference! We need several summer substitutes.

Located in the nature-friendly area of Skattkärr with good connections to Karlstad.

About the role
As a residential support worker, you base your support on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing daily life support from a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff members, you work towards the goal of making the day meaningful and rich in content. You support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, social contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your duties also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, evening, weekends, and sleeping on-call duties.

You have a team leader or group manager close by who spends part of their time working in the operations. This can also be a future career opportunity for you.

Your experience and knowledge
You have upper secondary education in care and nursing or other equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. Experience working with the target group is meritorious. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow.

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, and always have the best interests of our users as your starting point in everything you do.
