About me:

I am an active 11-year-old girl living in Älvsjö with my family. I enjoy having things happening around me. In my free time, I go swimming, participate in various forms of Paralympic sports, and go on outings with my family. On weekdays, I am at school and have an assistant with me, so you will also assist me there.

About you:

You have a strong commitment, patience, and are attentive. It is important to me that you are calm and reassuring and can interpret my signals. I appreciate that you take initiative and are creative and flexible. It is an advantage if you have previously worked with children with disabilities and see the job with me as a long-term position. If you have previous experience with tube feeding/feeding button on the stomach and via feeding pump, it is meritorious.

Staffing:

This position includes an extended (and compensated) staffing assignment, which means that during certain weeks, you must be reachable at times other than working hours. In situations where intervention is required, you will need to call in a substitute or step in yourself to assist. This is Assistans i Balans' way of ensuring that our clients always have a familiar assistant by their side. The assignment is shared among all assistants who work according to a regular schedule.

The Position:

Is 75% with varied working hours, primarily days, evenings, and weekends on a rolling schedule. Wake nights may occur as part of the role involves stepping in extra during urgent vacancies.
