Sunne Municipality is now looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant. You will be part of a secure and engaged team supporting a client with extensive support needs. The work takes place in a fixed work team where you work based on clear routines and a common approach. The work is characterized by close cooperation, continuity, and a structured way of working where the client's needs are in focus. The position is part of a newly established assistance group, which means that working methods and routines will be gradually developed together with management. You will become part of a team where the goal is to create a safe and stable everyday life for the client through shared vision, clarity, and a unified approach.

Responsibilities

We work in teams based on the client's implementation plan and support the client in their daily life based on individual needs. The work involves creating structure and predictability, as well as adapting activities and interactions to the client's daily condition and needs. You will work with clear pedagogy and alternative communication methods and play an important role in preventing and handling situations where the client may become stressed. The work requires professional interaction and a good ability to adapt to different situations. It is important to be able to work based on common routines and approaches, where structure and consistency are crucial for the client's sense of security. You will be part of a work team where high demands are placed on teamwork, responsibility, and stability in work. You are an attentive, calm, and warm person with empathy and a caring nature, as well as an understanding of the client's life situation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are responsible, stable, and have a genuine interest in working with people in need of support. Relevant upper secondary education, such as the Care and Nursing program, or other education that the employer deems equivalent is meritorious. Experience working with personal assistance or working with people with disabilities is meritorious. Experience working with autism or other neuropsychiatric disabilities, as well as experience with aggressive behavior, is seen as particularly meritorious. Knowledge of alternative and augmentative communication, such as PECS/TAKK, as well as knowledge of clear pedagogy and low-arousal approach is meritorious. You have a professional interaction style, are attentive, and perform your duties with the client in focus. You must master the Swedish language in speech and writing and have good computer skills. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. A valid B driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement. To thrive in the role, you are calm, secure, and have good self-awareness. You have the ability to maintain a stable approach even in pressured situations and work structured based on given routines. You have good teamwork skills and are patient and enduring in your work. Conditions

The positions are each at 75% and involve day, evening, and weekend shifts as well as night shifts with on-call sleeping duty. Employment is according to the current collective agreement. Interviews take place continuously during the recruitment period, and employment decisions may be made before the last application date.
