We are now looking for a Process Manager for a three-year project tasked with planning, leading, and developing collaboration between the municipalities of Gagnef, Vansbro, Leksand, Mora, Orsa, and Älvdalen. The role is both central and strategic, targeting you who wish to contribute to sustainable solutions across organizational boundaries.

What does the assignment involve?

The assignment involves establishing and further developing structures for collaboration between several municipalities. The purpose and goal are to jointly strengthen quality, reduce vulnerability, and use common resources more efficiently. Although the role entails significant personal responsibility and independent work, success is built on close cooperation and shared commitment from all participating municipalities. This also means long-term development and strengthening of structured collaboration between the municipalities in northwestern Dalarna to optimize resource usage, improve the quality of municipal operations, and reduce vulnerability.

Examples of tasks:

You lead and coordinate the work of developing common working methods and sustainable forms of collaboration between the municipalities. The role involves structuring and driving processes for enhanced collaboration, inventorying and analyzing existing working methods, and identifying new areas for collaboration with a special focus on vulnerable operations, support functions, and specialist competencies. The role also includes driving political and organizational anchoring and contributing to information and training efforts related to the collaboration assignment.

The position is a full-time project employment, and you report to all municipal directors within the collaboration assignment.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who have:

• A university degree that the employer deems adequate for the position, for example in political science, public administration, urban planning, organization, and leadership, or equivalent.
• Good understanding of politically governed organizations.
• Experience in process management, project management, or similar coordinating roles, and are accustomed to working structured in complex contexts.

To succeed in the role, you need to be self-reliant and confident in driving processes towards set goals, while also having the ability to create engagement and consensus between different organizations. As a person, you are analytical and communicative. You have the ability to hold the big picture together and drive the work forward, while valuing collaboration and shared responsibility for the result. To succeed in the role of Process Manager, good ability to express yourself clearly in both speech and writing is required.

The position involves travel within Dalarna and some flexibility in working hours. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.

About the employment

The position is a fixed-term project assignment for three years. The assignment is driven jointly for the municipalities of Gagnef, Vansbro, Leksand, Mora, Orsa, and Älvdalen, and we will jointly agree on which municipality will be the formal employer and your starting point.
