About the Role

Vattenfall IT is now looking for an Operations Engineer within Virtual Client & System Software Solutions (Citrix) who wants to work with the development and delivery of IT services with a focus on secure and stable operations. As an Operations Engineer, you will be part of a team, but we also expect you to have the ability to work independently with external suppliers as well as colleagues throughout Sweden and Europe. Main Responsibilities

• Operation and monitoring of centrally managed customer environments
• Ensure existing environments are developed and be responsible for the design and implementation of solutions
• Participate in transformation and change projects
• Streamline and automate working methods and systems
• Patch management and upgrades
• Troubleshooting of varying size and complexity

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is driven, takes initiative, and is self-motivated. You have a genuine interest in learning and understanding new technology, and you show a good ability to quickly grasp new technical areas by being forward-looking and solution-oriented. We also appreciate that you are trust-building, both within your own group and towards other parts of the business. You thrive in change and have a natural drive for continuous improvement. You have good collaboration skills and a humble approach to the people around you. You enjoy collaborating with others and also have good structure in your own work.

We would like you to:

• Have experience working in large environments, both with operations and development of IT infrastructure
• Have experience with Citrix CVAD, Windows Server, and Windows 11
• Have knowledge of VDI, AD, GPO, and Networking
• Fluently speak and write Swedish and English
• Understand and embrace a high level of IT security awareness
• Hold a valid Category B driver's license

It is an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge of IT-related processes and frameworks such as ITIL
• Experience within Ivanti Suite, FSLogix, PowerShell, VMware, vSAN, and Endpoint Management
• Knowledge of NetScaler, App Layering, provisioning, WEM, 2FA, and F5
• Linux experience
• Basic script/programming experience and automation (e.g., Ansible, Python, PowerShell)
• Experience working with GitLab
