RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged teacher for the Construction and Civil Engineering program. In this role, you will teach both practically and theoretically, as well as follow up on workplace-based learning (APL). You clarify the goals of the teaching and communicate them in an understandable way to the students, while also assessing their goal achievement and assigning grades according to the curriculum. As a mentor, you play an important role in supporting students by having a good understanding of their needs, following their studies, and actively working to ensure they achieve their upper secondary diploma. You build strong relationships with students and maintain regular contact with guardians to create a safe and supportive learning environment.

Through collaboration with school leadership and colleagues, you contribute to creating a positive school environment where students thrive, develop, and reach their goals. You actively participate in various collegial settings where you both share and develop your subject knowledge as well as your pedagogical and didactic skills. To thrive in this role, it is important that you actively participate in the subject group's work and appreciate collaborating with colleagues, students, and other staff at the upper secondary school. Together, you work to create the best conditions for each student's success.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified craftsman with experience from the industry and have good digital competence. If you have teacher certification and subject eligibility, it is meritorious but not a requirement. The most important thing for us is that you have the right professional competence and the personal qualities required to succeed in the role of a teacher. Experience of working with young people in some form is required. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Please specify your professional qualifications in your application.
