Who will you work with?

We are looking for an engaged and reliable assistant who wants to be a support in everyday life for a cheerful girl who wants to live an independent and active life. She has a great interest in singing, painting, and crafts. During the day, she attends school, and in her free time, she enjoys exercising, singing, and crafting. She moves around using a wheelchair, to some extent independently. She needs support in daily life with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, toilet visits, transfers, medication, meals, exercise, leisure time, friendships, and home life.

Scope of the position

We are looking for an assistant who can step in as a temporary hourly substitute on short notice due to sick leave of regular staff, during school holidays, and in vacation periods. Working hours are scheduled for early morning, afternoon, and evening. On weekends, work is usually between 08:00-17:00. It may also become relevant to have a fixed morning shift of 2 hours per week later on, and possibly a fixed Saturday per month.

Who are you?

As an assistant, you need to be flexible, social, and positive, as your work involves creating and motivating towards a meaningful existence and providing support in daily routines and social activities. We would like you to have experience in care and social services or pedagogical work and be accustomed to working independently. Knowledge of epilepsy and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) is advantageous but not a requirement.

Due to privacy-sensitive tasks, we are only seeking female assistants.

Language skills: Good Swedish.

Driver's license: Class B.

Start date: By agreement.
