In the role of Payroll Specialist, you will work with both transport and rail operations, handling payroll questions, administration, and agreements. The Payroll Specialist will actively work with payroll processing, salary payments, and other recurring tasks related to payroll management for Sandahls Logistics.
As a Payroll Specialist, we want you to contribute to Sandahls Logistics AB and Real Rail Sweden AB achieving their overall goals by ensuring efficient payroll management. The position is based at our headquarters in Värnamo.
We are looking for someone who works in a structured and independent manner, can handle varied tasks, and has experience with payroll administration in similar companies. As a person, you are service-oriented, flexible, and enjoy actively working on improvements and digital solutions. You also appreciate dialogue and control in daily payroll work.
Main Responsibilities:- Personnel and payroll management in OpenHR, TransPA, Hogia Expenses & Travel.
- Tax and employer reports.
- Handle and follow up on various personnel matters.
- Primary responsibility for Time, Travel, TransPa, and Hogia Personnel.
- Contact with authorities regarding personnel (Social Insurance Agency, Swedish Work Environment Authority, and Enforcement Authority).
- Work across departmental boundaries to assist other departments within the company and the group.
- Management of pensions via Collectum and Fora.
- Management of employee insurance (injuries/accidents/illness).
- Generate employee statistics (e.g., worked hours, overtime, and compensation).
- Administer training (ADR, YKB).
- Archive accounting documents according to Doc no. 3-50 in the management system.
- Stay updated on existing agreements and how they should be handled in the payroll process.
- Control function in salary payments.
- Experience from the transport and railway industry is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Experience from payroll management and payroll administration in similar systems.
- Advantage if you have a higher vocational education (KY) or other equivalent education within HR/payroll.
- Very good computer skills (Office), additional business system experience is meritorious.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Meritorious with experience of working time regulations and collective agreements.
- Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing.
