We are currently looking for a Junior Business Controller for a well-established manufacturing company in Jönköping. The position starts as a consultancy assignment via AxÖ Consulting with the ambition to transition into a permanent employment with the client company.

About the role

As a Junior Business Controller, you will become part of the finance team and work closely with the CFO, CEO, and the operations. You will play a key role in collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to support business decisions and operational development.

This is a developmental role where you will have the opportunity to learn controlling from the ground up in a business-close environment. You will work with reporting, follow-up, analysis, and decision support, while contributing to the development of the company's data-driven working methods.

The work involves, among other things:

• Creating analyses, reports, and decision support materials
• Working with the follow-up of key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational results
• Supporting operations, the CFO, and the CEO with financial analyses
• Working in Excel and Power BI to visualize and analyze data
• Participating in budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up work
• Contributing to the development of processes, reporting, and business support

The daily work takes place on-site at the office just outside Jönköping together with the team.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a strong drive and a genuine interest in analysis, finance, and operational development. You enjoy working with numbers, drawing conclusions from data, and turning information into insights.

You may be a recent graduate in economics or industrial economics, or have some experience from, for example, auditing or similar analytical roles.

To succeed in the role, we believe you:

• Have a post-secondary education in economics or a similar field
• Have very good knowledge of Excel
• Have experience with or an interest in Power BI and data visualization
• Are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented
• Have good IT and system understanding
• Have very good proficiency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
• Are curious and wish to develop long-term within controlling and business management

You do not need to know everything from the start. The most important thing is that you have the right attitude, the willingness to learn, and the drive to take responsibility and develop.
