Erikshjälpen is a children's rights organization with a non-profit second-hand business. Together, we share a common vision: a changed world where children's dreams come to life.
We work to combat poverty and vulnerability by promoting children's rights in 16 countries.
In Sweden, children's rights work is primarily conducted through Erikshjälpen Framtidsverkstad, in close collaboration with our second-hand stores. In total, we operate around 50 Erikshjälpen Second Hand stores in Sweden and Norway. One of Erikshjälpen Second Hand's missions is to generate as much surplus as possible for the children's rights organization Erikshjälpen.
Payroll Administrator to the Finance Department (50%)

Do you have experience in payroll administration and thrive in a role where you take significant responsibility? Erikshjälpen is now looking for an engaged and self-motivated payroll administrator for our Finance Department. Are you our new colleague?
Description:
As a payroll administrator, you are responsible for ensuring correct and timely payroll processing in accordance with applicable laws, collective agreements, internal policies, and guidelines throughout Erikshjälpen. Your role involves close collaboration with HR, finance, and managers, as well as contact with authorities and external parties. The position is 50% and involves working full days for 2 weeks per month.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and quality-assure the entire payroll process from source documents to payment
- Register and control working hours, schedule changes, and various types of absence
- Interpret and apply collective agreements and current laws
- Issue employer certificates
- Report to various authorities
- Support managers with payroll-related questions, preparation of materials for accounting, auditing, and statistical reporting
- Reports to HR
- Secure handling of personal data according to GDPR
- Other administrative tasks may be added
Qualifications:
You have:
- Documented experience in payroll administration, preferably 5 years
- Relevant upper secondary education or equivalent higher vocational education
- Good knowledge of Swedish tax legislation, labor law, and collective agreements
- Good experience with personnel and payroll systems, preferably Flex HRM/ Kontek
- Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Accustomed to working in various systems, especially Microsoft Office programs

- A person with good collaboration skills who enjoys building relationships
- Stress-resistant and accustomed to handling multiple and different cases simultaneously
Merits:
- Further education in labor law
- Experience from payroll administration in larger organizations
- Knowledge of pensions, insurance, and process development
