Job Description

Background and Assignment Description

The organization works with extensive development and renewal of the power grid to meet the increased demand for electricity and to ensure high operational reliability. The work is an important part of electrification and the green transition in Sweden. Efficient and target-group-adapted communication with affected stakeholders is a central success factor for the implementation of the projects.

Responsibilities

The assignment involves supporting grid expansion projects with communication expertise within programs and projects. The consultant becomes part of a communications function focused on regional dialogue and communication related to grid expansion. The work is carried out in close cooperation with other communicators to ensure unified and strategic communication that contributes to the progress of the projects and strengthens the company's brand.

The assignment includes, among other things:

  • Develop communication plans
  • Plan and execute communication activities
  • Plan and execute events for selected target groups
  • Provide communicative support to the project's spokespersons
  • Ensure that communication follows established messages and guidelines
  • Produce text material, image material, and simple films
  • Publish content on the web and intranet in CMS systems
  • Create graphic material in InDesign

Requirements

  1. At least 3 years of experience in the last 5 years working with public communication.
  2. At least 4 years of experience independently driving, planning, and executing target-group-adapted and relationship-building communication activities.
  3. At least 1 year of experience in the last three years of operational work with communication for grid expansion projects with the affected public as the target group.
  4. Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.

Merits

  • Experience as a communication consultant.
  • Experience working in the public sector (state/municipality).
  • Experience in project management.
