We are now looking for a resource teacher for our friendly independent preschool, Kattens, located on Slottsmöllan in Halmstad.

Kattens is a parent cooperative with premises integrated with Wallbergsskolan. Being a parent cooperative means short decision-making processes and a high willingness to collaborate to ensure our children have the best possible experience. The activity is run without profit motives, with the goal of creating the best possible environment for all children.

At Kattens, there are 26 children (distributed across three groups) and 8 staff members. We have a high level of education among our staff and provide comprehensive educational activities for the children.

This position at the preschool serves as a resource for children with hearing impairments. You will follow a specific child and support their language comprehension and language development within the regular activities. The position covers approximately 65-75% and involves varying hours from week to week, within the time frame of approx. 07:30–16:00. The position will be filled from week 32, 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter.

We are looking for you who have:

• Some form of pedagogical education and preferably experience working with children in groups.
• Knowledge/experience in sign language or TAKK (Support and Secure Communication).
• Great flexibility in your professional role.
• A cheerful, energetic, and curious attitude, eager to develop together with children and colleagues.
• A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is required.

The position is planned to run for a period of three years.
