About the role

At Majema, we develop educational materials for preschool class to grade 6, combining traditional school textbooks with high-quality digital e-learning materials. We are in an exciting phase of development where our digital products are becoming increasingly important in teaching.

As a web editor and educational material developer, you will be a key person in the work of developing and improving our digital learning materials together with editors, teachers, and web developers. Here you will have the opportunity to help shape the future of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Product development of e-learning materials together with editors and web developers.
• Responsibility for teacher contacts related to our e-learning materials, for example through classroom visits, interviews, and surveys.
• Project and program management of several parallel projects.
• Design and drive our overarching web vision.

Your profile

• Have taught as a class teacher for grades 1–6 for at least 10 years.
• Have a strong interest in pedagogy.
• Have experience working with digital products in teaching.
• Are accustomed to driving projects and coordinating work between different functions.
• Are passionate about the English subject.

About the company

Majema Publishing is an educational publisher with offices in Nacka Strand, offering learning materials and planning tools from preschool class to grade 6. The publisher produces basic learning series in Swedish, English, and Mathematics. The company's guiding star is that creativity and structure should go hand in hand and that students should have room for their own thoughts and reflections. Our learning materials strive to be appealing and clear in layout and illustration. The editorial team consists of teachers, which means that at Majema, we produce the learning materials we ourselves would like to use in the classroom.
