About the Department

The Authority Business Area is one of four business areas within the Social and Labour Market Administration, responsible for individual and family care, municipal labour market initiatives, and adult education. The Authority Business Area is responsible for receiving reports and applications concerning children, young people, and adults, investigation and follow-up of measures according to SOL, LVM, and LVU, foster care, and special support for youth with norm-breaking behaviour/criminality.

Job Responsibilities

As a Social Secretary with us, you handle cases concerning children, young people, and adults, with the opportunity to specialize in specific target groups if desired. You investigate and follow up on decided measures according to SoL, LVU, and LVM. We encourage a creative approach to work and work closely with our colleagues within the business area and administration. Our case processing is based on Signs of Safety. We focus on what works and have faith in the client's network and own resources.

Depending on your experience, you will be offered opportunities for mentorship, support to colleagues, and special work areas based on interest.

Qualifications

A degree in Social Work (Social Work degree) is required for the position.

We prefer that you have experience in authority exercises within individual and family care, or alternatively in the municipal sector. Social Secretaries have authority-related tasks with responsibility for assessing, documenting, and communicating decisions. You must master the Swedish language fluently in both speech and writing.

Driving is included in the position and requires a Category B driver's license for manual cars.
