Serigmo Care is a care provider offering services within residential care homes (HVB), short-term housing, supported housing, and transitional apartments for adults with various forms of addiction issues. Many of our clients also have some form of neurodevelopmental disorder or suffer from mental health challenges. We also work on changing criminal thought patterns and behaviors.

Our facilities are located geographically in the Mälardalen region, Västra Götaland, and Scania. Through our diverse service areas, we aim to offer individualized holistic solutions to achieve and establish a drug-free lifestyle, secure housing, meaningful occupation, and leisure activities.

Serigmo Care Mälardalen Treatment Center is a licensed facility with 21 places for adult men and women aged 18–65 with substance abuse or addiction issues. Many of our clients also need support in addressing criminal thought patterns and behaviors.

Are you a Treatment Pedagogue or Social Pedagogue?

We are looking for you who are trained as a Treatment Pedagogue, Social Pedagogue, or have other adequate education. It is advantageous if you have experience in treatment work and have completed further education such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), CRA, KSL, or similar. You are well-versed in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), which is the method we apply. You put the client at the center and maintain a low-affective approach in your interactions.

Main responsibilities:

• Key contact person for placed clients.
• Conducting tests for alcohol and narcotics.
• Documentation according to current legislation and company guidelines.
• Contact with commissioning authorities.
• Medication administration following delegation from a nurse.

The working hours are varied and scheduled, including some on-call duty with overnight stays, but limited to a maximum of 6 occasions per 4-week period. A valid Category B driver's license is required for this position.
