Job Description

AFRY is now seeking consultants who want to contribute and make a difference in our customers' daily work and operational environment – with a special focus on aviation, aircraft maintenance, and continuing airworthiness within civil and military organizations.

In this role, you will work as a Consultant in Aircraft Maintenance, where maintenance strategies, regulatory compliance, data analysis, and digital support systems are central components. The assignments are primarily within aviation, defense, and government-related operations, where requirements for structure, traceability, and quality are high.

Examples of tasks in our customer assignments:

• Work with continuing airworthiness (CAMO/EMAR-based environments) and aircraft maintenance
• Interpretation and implementation of maintenance requirements from manufacturers and authorities
• Configuration, use, and further development of Flight/Maintenance Management Systems (FMS/MMS)
• Structuring, analysis, and quality assurance of large datasets related to maintenance and systems
• Preparation of decision support materials, analyses, and presentations for various target groups
• Support in the digitalization of maintenance processes and information flows
• Collaboration between engineering, operations, IT, and authority functions

Qualifications

Our team consists of experienced consultants with high competence in maintenance, Asset Management, and business development. You thrive in the intersection between operations, technology, and regulations, and you have the ability to both delve into details and lift your gaze to the overall perspective.

We are looking for you who have:

• Experience and/or good knowledge of civil and military aviation regulations (e.g., EMAR)
• Experience working in continuing airworthiness and/or aircraft maintenance
• Experience with Flight Management Systems / Maintenance Management Systems in civil or military aviation operations, e.g.:
  • IFS Maintenix
  • AMOS
  • ILIAS (or equivalent)
• Experience interpreting documentation from manufacturers and authorities and translating requirements into practical application in FMS/MMS
• Ability to compile, structure, and analyze large datasets with high precision
• Knowledge in relevant programming languages for data analysis
• Good skills in tools such as Excel and SQL for analysis and follow-up
• Ability to present complex relationships at different levels – from detailed to overarching
• Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with various organizations
• Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Education in areas such as the following is considered meritorious:

• Aeronautical Engineering / Aircraft Maintenance
• Aircraft Mechanic
• Data Engineering
• Logistics, Technology, or equivalent

We are seeking employees for Solna. Commuting and travel are a natural part of the role.

Our assignments are varied, and several take place in security-classified areas, which means that a security clearance check may be conducted prior to employment. Swedish citizenship is a requirement.
