We are looking for a personal assistant for a 6-year-old boy with, among other things, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD. The work involves constantly being active and creative with him. He is very active and needs stimulation both at home and outdoors. The job includes days filled with laughter and play, but also times when your role is to prevent and manage frustrations and problematic situations. Therefore, it is important to always be attentive to his well-being and adaptable in different environments. Assisting with interpreting, explaining, and mediating the surroundings is of great importance.

This position also involves supporting him with daily chores, including helping with all household tasks. The role includes supporting and assisting with meals, showering, diaper changes, personal hygiene, communication, etc. It is also important to note that our client is sensitive to infections and has cold-induced asthma.

Qualifying experiences

• Experience with low-affective interaction (calm and non-reactive approach)
• Experience with TAAK (Sign Language, Recovery, Activity, Communication)
• Experience with autism and ADHD
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

If you have previous experience working with autism and challenging behaviors, this is a merit. A requirement is that you have the ability to read situations and the client's well-being, and act accordingly. You need to be in good health as he is active around the clock. As a person, you are calm, stable, and self-assured.

Working hours vary, and shifts are scheduled for days, afternoons, evenings, and weekends according to a rotating schedule. Smoking is not allowed during working hours at this workplace. Since a dog may be present in the work environment, it is important that you are not allergic to fur animals. It is also important to avoid using strong scents.
