We are currently looking for an Orthopedic Technologist for our clinic "Children & Youth" in Solna, which currently consists of approximately 70 employees. We are a highly specialized development clinic for orthopedic technical aids for children and young adults, and one of the largest clinics in the country.

Your responsibilities

As an orthopedic technologist, you will receive and assist children and young people with orthopedic technical aids. Your work will be varied, covering several different types of aids, with the greatest focus on custom-made orthoses. We collaborate closely with treatment teams and, thanks to our large catchment area, have extensive experience with orthoses for walking, standing, sitting, as well as for improved hand function. When prescribing walking orthoses, we use a systematic approach facilitated by our gait analysis system with two cameras and a force plate. We also have extensive experience with therapeutic orthoses. This gives you the opportunity to learn about orthopedic technology across the entire field and work closely with orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who are trained as an orthopedic technologist. Experience from clinical work as an orthopedic technologist is meritorious but not a requirement. As a person, we would like you to be service-oriented, communicative, and flexible. We also value that you are self-motivated, creative, and meticulous in your work.
