About the Assignment

We are looking for an Accountant for our client, an established and well-known company in the home electronics sector.

• Scope: Full-time (100%)
• Assignment Period: Immediate start, 6 months
• Location: Kalmar
• Work Format: Primarily on-site

About the Role

You will be part of the Financial Services department, supporting the retail chains with their financial work. The role is broad and involves varied tasks with significant independent responsibility. You will become part of a larger finance department where collaboration and shared responsibility are central.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Your main responsibilities include:

• Management of accounts payable
• Payments and reminders
• Cash reporting
• Continuous bookkeeping
• Reconciliations in accounting
• Reporting to the Swedish Tax Agency and other authorities
• Monthly closing, annual closing, and annual reports
• Contact with owners, store staff, and auditors
• Potential reporting for group companies

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in economics/finance
• At least 3 years of experience as an accountant
• Experience with monthly closing
• Ability to work with multiple companies and account structures in parallel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the systems Jeeves and Fortnox
