Are you looking for a part-time job as a switchboard operator? We are currently seeking a substitute to support operations when regular staff is absent.

About the assignment

The work as a switchboard operator will be carried out at our client's premises in central Härnösand. Working hours are typically Monday–Friday between 08:00–16:30.

You will work extra as needed as a substitute to cover for regular staff absence, for example due to illness or vacation. The need varies, but we expect you to be available to work an average of approximately 2–3 days per week. Shifts are sometimes booked with short notice, so we prefer that you are a morning person. There is a higher demand during holidays and the summer season.

A background check will be conducted before the assignment starts.

Your responsibilities

  • Handling incoming calls on the switchboard
  • Receiving documents, mail, and visitors at a small reception
  • Redirecting calls to the correct person
  • Continuous work using a computer as a tool

Customer service and empathy towards others, both over the phone and in person, are very important parts of the job. Therefore, we look for someone who is empathetic, pedagogical, and outgoing.

Your qualifications

  • Good computer skills
  • Completed upper secondary education (high school diploma)
  • Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Availability to step in when needed, at least 2–3 days/week
  • Meritorious: Work experience in reception/switchboard operations
