About the Role

As a Preparation Technician, you play a key role in our industrialization and production preparation process. You are responsible for creating, quality-assuring, and maintaining preparations in the business system Monitor G5 so that products are correctly structured, calculated, and ready for release to production.

The role involves close collaboration with production technology, production, procurement, quality, and development, requiring high accuracy, structure, and an understanding of manufacturing flows.

Responsibilities

As a Preparation Technician, your main responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining item structures in Monitor G5.
• Ensuring that item structures are correctly hung and logically built in the business system.
• Linking all necessary documentation to items and operations, such as drawings, specifications, and instructions.
• Ensuring that preparations meet the company's requirements for release to production.
• Setting up operations and determining times per operation in the business system.
• Performing initial pre-calculation of items and ensuring a correct cost picture.
• Ensuring that no items have a zero price, and following up on and correcting price deviations on an ongoing basis.
• Working closely with production technology, production, and other functions to ensure correct and complete preparation documentation.
• Participating in improvement work related to preparation routines, item structures, and ways of working in the business system.

Personal Qualities & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you have a technical education at a post-secondary level or equivalent work experience within the manufacturing industry.

We prefer that you have experience in:

• Preparation, production preparation, or technical administration.
• Working with the Monitor G5 ERP system.
• Item structures, manufacturing flows, and technical documentation.
• Pre-calculation, timing, and cost follow-up.

As a person, you are:

• Accurate, structured, and quality-conscious.
• Analytical with a good understanding of numbers.
• Self-driven and responsible.
• Communicative and collaborative.
• Solution-oriented with an eye for detail.

Fluent Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement. English is an asset.
