At Ekängsskolan in Lenhovda, our adapted primary school, you will meet students from grades 1 to 9 in a safe, stimulating, and individualized learning environment. The work here is characterized by close relationships, a supportive and engaged staff, and a strong sense of community. We have a clear focus on students' learning and development, where each student is given the opportunity to reach as far as possible based on their circumstances. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work with students in grades 1 to 9 who are all studying according to the curriculum for adapted primary school. Teaching takes place in student groups of about 3 to 20 students, and you will work together with student assistants. Depending on whether the student group is studying a subject or subject area, there will be different numbers of student assistants.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a special education degree for students with intellectual disabilities, with the qualification to teach in adapted primary school. You will also teach motor skills and physical education.

Being positive, engaged, and flexible, as well as having the ability to think innovatively, are qualities that we highly value.

We believe you are a person who is curious about students' different ways of thinking, learning, and understanding, and sees their individual needs as a challenge. We seek someone who possesses good social skills and the ability to collaborate. You view everyone's differences as an asset and are curious and creative in creating opportunities for learning and development for each individual student. You make conscious choices to enhance students' motivation and work with clear pedagogical methods. You are positive and creative, seeing opportunities rather than obstacles. We would like you to have experience working with children in need of special support and that you are attentive to each individual's specific circumstances.

As a person, you need to be secure in yourself and have a good ability to build relationships with both students, colleagues, and guardians.
