Åsedaskolan F-6 is located in a picturesque environment close to forests, illuminated trails, an ice rink, and large green areas. The school has about 250 students distributed across two parallel classes in each grade. We work in well-functioning teams with the student's best interests in focus and have a close collaboration with Åsedaskolan 7-9, which is directly adjacent.
The school has an active student health team that meets every week and consists of a school nurse, counselor, special educator, special teacher, and principal. We also have a safety team that works preventively and promote to create security and study peace for our students.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a teacher with us, you will be responsible for teaching in handicrafts and home and consumer studies.
Your duties include, among other things:
- Planning, implementing, assessing, and evaluating teaching based on governing documents.
- Supporting and challenging students so that they achieve good academic results.
- Adapting teaching to the various needs and conditions of the students.
- Creating a safe, inspiring, and structured learning environment.
- Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the school's joint development work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a teaching license in textile handicrafts or home and consumer studies.
- Has a strong interest in creating positive learning environments and a good teaching culture.
- Encourages dialogue, participation, and engagement among students.
