JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Vederslöv School is looking for an engaged, secure, and inspiring teacher who wants to be a mentor in our positive and lively 5th grade. Together with a colleague, you create a stable and caring foundation for the students' security and development. The position includes teaching Swedish and social studies, where you have the opportunity to spark students' interest in language, history, culture, democracy, and world knowledge. Our F6 school is beautifully located just 20 minutes from Växjö, surrounded by forests, meadows, and water. The nature-friendly environment, our creative schoolyard, and our dedicated staff make the school an inspiring place for both students and staff.

As a teacher with us, you lead the instruction with clarity, care, and structure. You build relationships based on respect, curiosity, and security, and you work purposefully to ensure that every student feels motivation, focus, and a desire to learn. Planning, implementation, and evaluation of the teaching are based on the curriculum's goals, and you use digital tools as a natural support in the learning process. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher for grades 4-6 and qualified in Swedish and social studies. You express yourself well in speech and writing and lead the instruction in a way that creates clarity, structure, and a conducive learning environment. You have the ability to adapt teaching to each student's needs and meet students in need of special support with patience, flexibility, and an inclusive approach. You are confident in supporting students in social situations and helping them manage conflicts in a constructive and educational way. As a pedagogical leader, you are curious, reflective, and development-oriented. You appreciate collaboration and actively contribute to a positive and solution-focused work culture where the students' best interests are always at the center.

A driver's license and access to a car are required.
