Trollbacken is a parent cooperative that has been around since 1989, beautifully located in forest and land just north of Växjö. Here we have a safe and family-like environment where children's curiosity, influence, and well-being are at the center. We have a hired chef who prepares all meals from scratch on-site. Parents have work duties where they are responsible for cleaning and the kitchen, while the educational activities are run by preschool teachers and childcare workers together with the principal.

Trollbacken Parent Cooperative consists of two departments (1–3 years and 3–5 years) and an after-school program in an adjacent facility. As a Green Flag certified preschool, we actively work with sustainable development and spend much of the day outdoors.

Your Responsibilities

With us, you will have great opportunities to influence working methods and processes. Together with colleagues, you will be responsible for planning, documenting, and developing teaching, as well as following the children's learning and development. Trollbacken offers a smaller organization where short decision-making paths provide great opportunities for you as an employee to influence decisions and processes. Our unique outdoor environment is an important part of the education.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed preschool teacher with several years of experience in the profession and with good leadership skills.

• Positive, engaged, and professional in interactions with children, guardians, and colleagues.
• Good knowledge of the curriculum, governing documents, and educational documentation.
• Interest in developing stimulating learning environments – indoors and outdoors.
• Responsible for teaching and contributing to ensuring that education is safe, fun, and educational.
