The newly built Hjortsberg School for grades 7-9 is centrally located in Ljungby, with green areas nearby and in close proximity to an F-6 school and after-school care. Our facility also has access to a sports hall. The school has its own kitchen, dining hall, and five home rooms. The school is designed to accommodate 5 parallel classes with up to 375 students, but will start with 4 parallel classes from autumn 2024.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work at Hjortsberg School and teach French in grades 6-9. As a French teacher, you will plan, implement, and follow up on the teaching. You will be part of a team and collaborate with other teachers in the shared work around the students. Shared mentorship is included in the position. The working hours may potentially be increased depending on other subjects/competencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

You should be a qualified teacher in French for grades 6-9 and have a teaching license. Great emphasis is placed on collaboration skills and the ability to meet students in groups and individually.

Experience from working in a multicultural school is an asset. You are flexible, resilient to stress, cooperative, and can be low-key when required.
