Älghultskolan is a newly built two-parallel middle school with about 110 students. We always focus on our students' development, learning, safety, and study environment.

Älghult is located about a 35-minute drive from Nybro, Lessebo, Braås, and Rottne.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a special education teacher at Älghultskolan, you will work together with the principal and special educator to develop the pedagogical work so that all students have the best possible conditions for success in school. An important part of the assignment is to provide support to students individually and in groups, both in and outside the classroom. You contribute your expertise in adapting teaching and creating accessible learning environments.

As part of the Älghultskolan work team, you will also help develop the school's pedagogical activities. Together with colleagues, you plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on our governing documents and the goals of the organization. You are an active part of the school's student health team and contribute your expertise to the work for students' learning and well-being. The position may include shared mentorship in a class.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed special education teacher with the authority to teach mathematics for grades 7 to 9. You have a professional and scientific approach and experience in meeting students in need of special support. You have a good ability to conduct pedagogical investigations and analyze students' difficulties in various learning environments, primarily at the individual level but also at the group and organizational levels.

You are confident in your leadership role and create a structured and safe learning environment where students feel engaged and involved in their learning. You collaborate well with colleagues and actively contribute to a positive work climate. You work in accordance with the organization's values and strive to promote everyone's equal worth.

A driver's license is a requirement.

The position is filled on the condition that it is not needed by surplus staff or that the necessary political decisions are made.
