JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a student-centered and relationship-building special teacher who wants to work long-term and closely with students and educators at three schools: Gemla, Vederslöv, and Kalvsvik. The position is distributed as 50% Gemla, 40% Vederslöv, and 10% Kalvsvik. Your mission is to, in close collaboration with the teaching teachers, create accessible learning environments and implement targeted interventions at the individual and group level. The work is student-centered, focusing on mapping when it benefits teaching, planning and implementing interventions, monitoring progression, and providing guidance related to teaching practice. In Vederslöv and Kalvsvik, the focus is particularly on targeted support in grades F3, where interventions are planned and implemented in close dialogue with the respective work teams. You collaborate closely with the schools' special educator, who primarily investigates and guides as well as leads the work with adaptations, extra adaptations, and special support from a school-wide perspective. Your role complements this by translating recommendations into concrete teaching practices together with the educators. You will be part of the schools' student health work and contribute with a special education perspective in the everyday, ongoing work in the classrooms.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed special teacher, preferably with a focus on language, writing, and reading development and/or mathematics development. You are student-centered, relationship-building, and confident in your leadership. You work systematically and solution-focused, are used to analyzing learning needs, following up on the effects of interventions, and adjusting teaching based on data and observations. You thrive in close collaboration with educators, can guide teaching closely, and have a good ability to translate special educational recommendations into concrete practice in the classroom. You express yourself well in speech and writing and use digital tools to support analysis, planning, documentation, and follow-up.

A driver's license and access to a car are required.
