JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Tolg School is beautifully located in the village opposite the church. There are 55 students at the school, with classes divided into preschool, grades 1, 2-3, and 4-6. The building dates back to the late 1800s and has newly renovated classrooms.

We actively work to further develop safety and study peace, as this is the foundation for a good learning environment, which helps us achieve good academic results. We focus on accessible learning environments, structured and varied teaching to offer all students equity based on the goals of education.

At our school, everyone takes responsibility for their knowledge development, for each other, and for our common work environment. We work for good relationships and safety, which form the foundation for achieving high goal fulfillment. We have high expectations for all students and support them in how to proceed to develop in their learning.

We are now looking for a development-oriented and engaged Special Teacher for HT26. You want to work preventively and health-promoting to create a school culture that enhances students' opportunities to reach their goals. As a special teacher at Tolg School, your task is to motivate and give each student the opportunity to develop and reach their full potential. Since there is close cooperation between students and teachers at the school, we are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating with others. Positive and solution-oriented are other qualities we value.

In the basic assignment as a special teacher, you are expected to:

• Work with preventive and health-promoting measures at the organizational, group, and individual levels
• Work closely with students by teaching individual students or smaller groups, as well as mapping individual students and groups
• Actively participate in the school's student health work and support with documentation for decisions regarding measures for children in need of special support
• Collaborate with other school forms, external contacts, and guardians

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• is an educated special teacher
• has good leadership qualities and a strong ability to communicate and create positive relationships with students and parents, thereby creating safety and order in the classrooms.
• Has good digital skills and works systematically with documentation, investigations, and writing action plans.
• has high and positive expectations for students and their ability to develop.
• is passionate about pedagogical development together with your colleagues and is creative and open to new ideas and feedback.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and the following competencies: You have good collaboration skills and can create good relationships as the work involves many contact points with students, staff, and guardians.
