JOB DESCRIPTION

Kungsmadskolan belongs to the education administration in Växjö Municipality. The administration has over 2,700 employees and is thus the largest administration in the municipality. Our operations include preschool, pedagogical care, preschool class, primary school, special primary school, after-school care, upper secondary school, and special upper secondary school. Additionally, we have youth center activities, cultural school, and school libraries. We also have operations with various focuses such as Reggio Emilia, music, and IB (International Baccalaureate).

We are now looking for someone who wants to work as an instructor in Sweden's most modern restaurant and food program. The current position is located at Kungsmadskolan, which is a municipal upper secondary school with approximately 1,500 students in both vocational and higher education preparatory programs.

As an instructor in the restaurant and food program, you will serve as a resource for the program, and your main tasks will be to support and guide students. Your responsibilities will also include staffing and partially managing the program's bakery and delicatessen shop. You will work closely with the vocational teachers in the program.

The position is 80%.

QUALIFICATIONS

We require you to have a high school diploma. Experience working in high school is advantageous, but the decisive factor for who we hire will be your personality and ability to build relationships with our youth and colleagues. We are looking for someone who is self-driven and proactive, accustomed to juggling many tasks. It is important that you communicate clearly and have the ability to create good relationships with students and colleagues. You are easy to collaborate with. You are engaged and can adapt to different conditions in your daily work. You are positive about the development of the organization and yourself. We would prefer if you have experience with similar tasks.
