Centrally located in the area is Vislandaskolan, a K-9 school with about 400 students. We also have after-school care and are divided into two parallel classes up to grade 8 and three parallel classes in grade 9.

At the school, we work both practically and with digital tools, and from grade 4, every student has their own Chromebook. We use tools like SchoolSoft for communication with guardians and Google tools in our teaching.

Here, you will meet a united staff working together for the best interests of our students and to ensure their success in school. We have a large combined student health team that works across the K-9 spectrum and collaborates with other staff for the well-being of the students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position involves working as a teaching assistant in grade 7, focusing on both individual and group levels. You will follow classes 7A and 7B during lessons and breaks. You will work closely with mentors and teaching staff in the class. The position as a teaching assistant is 75%, and may possibly be combined with work in after-school care for a full-time position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience as a teaching assistant or other work in schools is advantageous. We place great importance on personal suitability.
