Älghultskolan is a newly built dual-parallel secondary school with about 110 students. We always focus on our students' development, learning, safety, and study environment.

Älghult is located about 35 minutes by car from Nybro, Lessebo, Braås, and Rottne.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the Älghultskolan work team, you contribute to developing the school's educational activities. Together with colleagues, you plan, implement, and evaluate the teaching based on our governing documents and the goals of the organization. The position is assigned to three schools, and it may involve shared mentorship in a class where you, together with a colleague, are responsible for supporting and following the students' development and learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license and qualifications to teach wood and metal crafts. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You are confident in your leadership role and have the ability to create a safe and structured learning environment where students feel engaged and involved. Your leadership is characterized by clarity, structure, and care for students' development. You have good collaboration skills and actively contribute to a positive work climate with colleagues. You work in accordance with the organization's values and strive to promote equal value for all. You have a positive attitude and an interest in developing both teaching and the school's activities.

A driver's license is a requirement.

OTHER

The position will be filled provided that it is not needed by surplus staff or that the necessary political decisions are made.

If you are considered for employment, the employer will request an extract from the criminal record. The municipal council has decided that all new hires must present a criminal record extract before employment. The extract to be presented is the one for work within schools or preschools.
