Vislanda is conveniently located near larger towns such as Växjö, Alvesta, and Ljungby, and you can easily reach us by train or bus via public transport. Centrally located in the town is Vislandaskolan, a K-9 school with about 400 students. We also have after-school care and are divided into two parallel classes up to grade 9.

At the school, we work both practically and with digital tools, and from grade 4, all students have their own Chromebook. We use tools such as SchoolSoft for communication with guardians and various Google tools in our teaching.

Here, you will meet a united staff working together for the best of our students and to ensure their success in school. We have a large combined student health team that works across K-9 and collaborates with other staff for the well-being of the students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching at the primary level. Mentorship is included, and you will work and collaborate with your colleague who is the mentor in the other class and resource personnel linked to the grade. Your view of students should be characterized by seeing that each student wants to succeed based on their own conditions, and you conduct structured teaching and create an accessible, developing learning environment in your classroom with varied working methods and adaptations according to the students' needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Teacher education and teaching license equivalent to Primary Teacher K-3. Good IT skills. Previous experience is an advantage. We also place great emphasis on personal suitability.
