Logistics Officer/Commander to Kvarn

Kvarn is part of Skövde Garrison, and a command team is now being built to lead and coordinate the garrison's joint activities in Kvarn.

Kvarn is a place with extensive and complex operations, including P 4 and Hkpflj basic training, basic officer training, development and training at the Ground Combat School, as well as the logistics and garrison support resources required to support the operations.

Skövde garrison is now strengthening the command team in Kvarn to handle an increasing workload. The logistics officer/commander is part of the garrison's support department based in Kvarn.

Main Responsibilities

As a logistics officer/commander, you will work broadly with several components of logistics. Your main tasks will be to lead and coordinate the garrison's joint tasks in Kvarn together with the garrison's support department and prepare matters for decision by the garrison commander.

The work as a logistics officer/commander includes leading and planning;

• Supply service
• Material service
• Infrastructure
• Technical service.

Qualifications

• Professional or reserve officer, at least OF2/SO6
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Driving license B

Meritorious

• Previous experience of working in a military staff at battalion level (or equivalent) or higher
• Experience in defense logistics

Other

Employment type: permanent or fixed-term RO2 employment. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.

Employment rate: Full-time

Salary: individual salary setting according to the Armed Forces' agreement. For reserve officers who are state employees, the salary supplement agreement applies.

Work location: Kvarn

Start date: by agreement.

Working hours are primarily weekdays 07:30-16:30, but weekend and evening work may occur. Business trips are part of the job. The position is military and involves war placement. To meet the Armed Forces' requirements for physical standards, physical training is included as part of your duties.

The Skaraborg Regiment, P 4 has operations from Älvdalen in the north to Remmene in the south. The leadership is located in Skövde, where the majority of conscript training takes place. The regiment's task is to recruit and train conscripts and personnel for two armored battalions, a heavy transport company, and a brigade reconnaissance company. P 4 is also responsible for a brigade staff that, in times of crisis and war, will lead large parts of the army's units.
