The Special Helicopter Group (SHG) is a special operations unit within the Swedish Armed Forces' special operations system (FMSF) located at the Helicopter Wing in Linköping. SHG's primary tasks are tactical transport, intelligence gathering, and air support. Like other units within FMSF, SHG has high demands for availability from specially selected personnel, with extensive operational experience and a high level of training and competence.
About the position
As a TRAINING OFFICER at SHG, you will be part of the unit's training and development section, which consists of several integral functions. The section's work aims to implement the unit's basic course, facilitate training assignments, and create conditions for the development of tactics, methods, and equipment.

In this position, you will be responsible for conducting training on these vehicles and, in the long run, developing vehicle operations within the unit.
The breadth of the section's work is also significant, and there are good opportunities to develop in other areas of competence. The position is open to both specialist officers and regular officers.
Main responsibilities
- Participate as an instructor in the unit's basic course and vehicle training

- Approved according to FM FysS, level 2

Personal qualities
We believe you have had the opportunity to develop in the role of instructor for some time, and that you are therefore confident in the role of educator – but most importantly, your creativity, engagement, and ability to challenge traditional training models to achieve the best possible effect are crucial. Therefore, we are open to both more and less experienced applicants. We offer you excellent opportunities to create, develop, or maintain your competence with us. In the long run, there are also good opportunities to develop into other roles within the unit.
As a person, you are social, unpretentious, and humble. You have the ability to understand the whole and can adapt to the context in which you currently operate, even when conditions are limited or rapid changes occur. In the selection process, great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and suitability.
