Your Role

As a chief technician, you will lead the daily operations on Helicopter 16 (UH-60M) within the framework of SAAB's authorization. The work involves leading and distributing resources, creating conditions, and optimizing the workshop's production. The job is varied, ranging from performing maintenance on the helicopter to developing the operations together with the workshop manager.

The department consists of about 30 employees working as technicians/mechanics and support staff. You will report directly to the workshop manager and be part of the workshop's management team.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone ready to take the next step in their career in aviation maintenance. You have at least 5 years of experience as a certified aviation/helicopter technician, and it is advantageous if you hold HKP15/HKP16 in your certification.

To succeed in this role, you should be structured, stress-resistant, and have good collaboration skills. The work can sometimes be varied, which places high demands on you as an individual. Previous leadership experience and leadership training are highly meritorious, and we place great importance on personal suitability.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, there may, in certain cases, be requirements for specific citizenship.
