RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who feels engaged and joyful in creating a developing environment for children aged 15 years. You gain energy from contributing to children's development and create conditions for a safe and positive learning environment in preschool.

With the vision that Ragunda's preschools are the preschools of opportunities that uplift children, staff, and guardians, we actively work for an equitable preschool. In Ragunda municipality, we work for quality throughout the educational chain, where preschool is the important first link. We are part of a small organization, which means closeness to colleagues across the municipality and quick decision-making paths.

We want to best prepare children for the future. As a preschool teacher, you have the overall responsibility for the educational activities. You have the ability to challenge children at a level that is adapted to their interests, abilities, and conditions, using play, language, and joyful learning as a starting point. The assignment includes planning, leading, implementing, and evaluating the educational activities in collaboration with the work team, where we develop together and take advantage of each other's competencies. You work based on the preschool curriculum, the Education Act, and municipal goals, and your work is characterized by a clear respect for the individual, as well as a good relationship with children, guardians, and colleagues. You work to create a safe, developing, and educational preschool. In our preschools, all children are everyone's children, and collaboration across departments is a given. Our preschools should be characterized by joy at work and safety.

Two permanent positions at Småfolkets preschool in Bispgården: with approximately 40 children aged one to five years distributed across 3 departments. We also have an after-school program with children aged six to twelve years with us. Start before the autumn term of 2026 or by agreement.

One permanent position at Himlavalvets preschool in Hammarstrand: with approximately 60 children. We have five departments distributed in two buildings for children aged one to five years. Start before the autumn term of 2026 or by agreement.

A temporary position for the school year 26/27 at Skogsgläntans preschool in Stugun: with approximately 60 children aged one to five years distributed across 5 departments.

Common to our preschools is that they have age-segregated departments and we collaborate in both pedagogical and practical matters to create the best possible operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a preschool teacher degree or a teacher in the early years with a focus on preschool teaching or another educational qualification deemed equivalent.

As a preschool teacher, you take active initiatives in social contexts, step forward, and find it easy to create new relationships with both children, guardians, and colleagues.

We have just over 5000 inhabitants distributed across about 40 villages, as well as the three urban areas of Bispgården, Hammarstrand, and Stugun, all located along the Indals River. In the east, the buildings are concentrated in the river valley, while the western part also offers a forest area that is traversed by the Natura 2000-classified Ammerån.
