In the preschool in Berg Municipality, which is offered in seven locations, well-educated and engaged staff work to provide the municipality's children and youth with the best conditions for lifelong learning. Our children should have fun, feel safe, and be able to develop according to their own conditions.

Job Responsibilities

In your role as a substitute, you will work in teams that together are responsible for planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the activities. This includes a shared responsibility for the educational activities, with children aged 1-5 years. You will collaborate extensively with the entire preschool and work actively and purposefully for a well-balanced and developing operation according to the preschool curriculum. With a constructive approach, you should strive for trusting relationships with children, parents, colleagues, and management. You are also responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for the children in preschool.

We are currently looking for substitutes for Lägdans Preschool located in Myrviken.

Qualifications

We prefer that you have completed upper secondary education, preferably as a childcare worker or another area within social/pedagogical work. If you have post-secondary education in educational work, e.g., as a licensed preschool teacher, we consider it an asset. It is also positive if you have previous experience working in preschool and from systematic development work. You need to have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Berg Municipality is a Sámi administrative municipality, and we therefore see it as an asset if you have knowledge of the South Sámi language and culture.

We work with an electronic substitute procurement system, Time Pool, which means that you must have internet access for us to offer you work. You are responsible for entering the times you can work and responding to inquiries as soon as possible. Being a substitute can mean that the need for work can change quickly. Bookings often occur day by day, and we value that you have the opportunity to work as much as possible.
