Åre Municipality is a Sami administrative municipality, and we welcome applicants who have linguistic and cultural knowledge of Sami.

Our school is located in a mountain-adjacent environment in Undersåker and is a F-6 school with approximately 200 students, of which about 130 attend our after-school program. We offer you a well-functioning school where teachers thrive and collaborate effectively. The school has been expanded with new beautiful facilities for the 2023/2024 school year and works with outdoor pedagogy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a teacher for the lower grades/preschool class.

In your role as the responsible teacher, you will work with the team to ensure the quality of the educational work and participate in development work alongside other teachers. Your responsibilities will include a holistic approach to the students' social and academic development. You will be responsible for systematically documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on students' learning. Skill in the craft and broad leadership & stimulation will be advantageous.

QUALIFICATIONS

• We are looking for someone qualified to teach in preschool and grades 1-3.
• You have a good ability to work both individually and collaboratively with students, guardians, colleagues, and school management.
• We believe you have a very good ability to work goal-oriented and solution-focused based on current governing documents, always keeping the child's best interests in focus.

As a person, you find it easy to collaborate, feel secure even in challenging situations, and can easily adapt to different types of tasks and situations. You often find win-win solutions through an unpretentious focus on the common goal. You communicate clearly and can easily distinguish between the issue and the person. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
