JOB DESCRIPTION

Racklöfska School is located in the center of Järpen in Åre Municipality, Jämtland County. The school has about 150 students from preschool to grade 6. The school is directly adjacent to wonderful cross-country ski trails, an ice rink, a swimming pool, and a sports hall. The municipal library is within walking distance from the school. The school's location is ideal for educational activities with proximity to sports, nature, and culture. The schoolyard offers good opportunities for activities, including street basketball, climbing frames, swings, a small forest area, a sports arena with artificial grass, a sledding hill, a grill area, and a large football field. The school is directly adjacent to 'Verket' - an activity area with a bike and skate park. Several outdoor days are spent in our nearby mountains.

The school is organized into three work teams: F-3, 4-6, and after-school care. At Racklöfska School, we work to ensure that everyone feels good, both students and staff. We are looking for a couple of qualified teachers for after-school care, primarily part-time, but full-time may become relevant. As part-time, you will primarily work afternoons during after-school care hours. For full-time, you will work daytime as a resource/teaching teacher in the school and in the morning/afternoon at after-school care.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You have a good ability to work both individually and in collaboration with students, guardians, colleagues, and school management.
• We believe you have a very good ability to work both goal-oriented and solution-focused based on applicable governing documents and that the child's best interest is always your focus.
• As a person, you find it easy to collaborate, feel secure even in challenging situations, and can easily adapt to different types of tasks and situations. You often find win-win solutions through an unpretentious focus on the common goal. You communicate clearly and can easily distinguish between the issue and the person. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
• We work with clarifying pedagogy and several common lesson structures in the school to benefit the students.
• The position is a holiday position.
