The Department of Education has about 800 employees. The department's activities extend across the entire municipality and include preschool, primary school F-9, adapted primary school, after-school care, food and cleaning services, mother tongue, and library services.

Änge school is a F-9 school with about 250 students. We work closely together to create comprehensive solutions for the students. The work is based on the student's opportunity for development and learning throughout the day.

A day as a wood and metal crafts teacher at Änge school

The main task is to teach and inspire students in grades 3-9 in wood and metal crafts.

You teach and stimulate students based on municipal and national goals. Inspiring, motivating, and sparking curiosity in students to seek the knowledge they need is another important part of the job, as is supporting students in their personal development.

Your qualifications

We are looking for a certified teacher in technology and wood and metal crafts. You are independent, clear, structured, and organized. You take initiative and are solution-focused. At the same time, you are an important part of building the team, and it is required that you are a team player.

You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and have a focus on students' learning. You have the ability to see students' individual needs and can meet them based on their circumstances. You are well-versed in the school's governing documents and analyze, evaluate, and develop your teaching based on students' conditions, needs, and results. You are a team player and see collaboration as a given to succeed in your assignment. You have the ability to create good relationships and communicate clearly with students, guardians, and colleagues. School development is a significant part of the school's joint work to increase knowledge outcomes.
