Änge school is a F-9 school with about 250 students, and Kaxås is a F-6 school with about 45 students.

The Department of Education and Child Care has about 800 employees. The department's activities extend throughout the municipality and include preschool, primary school F-9, adapted primary school, after-school care, food and cleaning services, mother tongue, and library services.

A Day as a Teacher in Grades 4-6

You will teach and inspire students in grades 4-6. As a teacher, you will help develop the school's educational activities. You are a clear and structured leader in the classroom with good pedagogical skills in teaching.

You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and have the students' learning in focus. You have the ability to see the individual needs of students and can meet them based on their circumstances. You are well-versed in the school's governing documents, and you analyze, evaluate, and develop your teaching based on students' conditions, needs, and results. You are a team player and see collaboration as a given for succeeding in your role. You have the ability to create good relationships and communicate clearly with students, guardians, and colleagues.

Your Competence

We are looking for you who are a certified primary school teacher for grades 4-6.

You feel secure in the role of teacher and have the knowledge and practical skills required for the position. In your role as a teacher, you should have good knowledge of the school's mission and be well acquainted with the current curriculum and other governing documents. Based on this, you should have the ability to plan your teaching and allow students to participate in the design.

You believe in students' willingness and ability to succeed, and you constantly try to find ways to develop your teaching so that you provide your students with the best conditions. You are self-sufficient and have the ability to carry out your work independently. You contribute to collegial learning together with colleagues in all subjects by promoting a positive, solution-focused work climate in the teams.

Krokom Municipality is making a special effort related to particularly hard-to-recruit professions in certain geographical areas. Both Kaxås school and Änge school are part of this effort. Therefore, a salary supplement of 3000 SEK/month for full-time work will be provided for certified teachers hired for this position.
