SJR is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant

SJR is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant who can take responsibility for the accounts payable for three companies during a transformation period. This is a consulting assignment starting April 1st and lasting for six months with a possible extension thereafter. For this assignment, we are looking for someone who wants to be employed as a consultant or someone who wants to work as a subcontractor with us. Our client is located centrally in Stockholm and applies a hybrid setup.

About the Role

As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will enter a critical period where the organization is undergoing a major transformation. During this time, the finance team needs reinforcement from an experienced consultant who can ensure that the daily invoice flow operates smoothly and correctly for three companies. You will work closely with the finance function and be a central part of maintaining quality in the accounts payable flow while contributing structure and continuity during the change process. The role is operational and requires you to quickly familiarize yourself with existing processes, take ownership of tasks, and independently drive the work forward after a brief introduction.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier invoices for three companies
• Ensure correct coding and matching
• Administer approval flows and follow up on discrepancies
• Register and manage incoming and outgoing payments
• Perform reconciliations and support during month-end closing
• Communicate with internal and external parties regarding questions or discrepancies

Suitable Background

You have several years of experience in accounts payable and are comfortable in the role of Accounts Payable Assistant. You are used to working with larger invoice flows, have good system skills, and work independently. Experience with Unit4 and/or Xledger is highly meritorious, as well as previous experience from organizations in transition.
