About the position
We are looking for an Accountant to our client in Solna! You will be part of their Record to Report (R2R) team. R2R is the central function for accounting expertise within their group, with a strong focus on quality and compliance. The team is responsible for ongoing bookkeeping, statutory reporting (IFRS and local GAAP), financial reports, and external audits. They are constantly developing and optimizing their processes. Financial accounting is evolving – and so are they. This is an excellent opportunity for you who want to shape your future and be part of a modern, expert-driven accounting function.

The position includes the following tasks:
- You will be responsible for activities in the general ledger in accordance with legal requirements and internal standards, following IFRS and statutory accounting rules
- You will act as a trusted accounting expert and collaborate closely with internal teams, auditors, and external service providers, including our partner for business process outsourcing
- You will drive monthly and annual closings and ensure deadlines are met
- You will prepare financial reports and annual accounts for legal entities and manage the entire reporting process and the external audit process
- You will maintain a high standard of service quality, accuracy, and compliance in all accounting activities
- You will participate in improvement work together with process experts and contribute to cross-functional projects

Assignment period and scope:
The position as Accountant is a full-time consulting assignment starting immediately as agreed and is expected to last until 2027-06-11.

Requirements for the position:
• University degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent education with good knowledge of IFRS and Swedish accounting legislation
• 3–5 years of experience in ongoing accounting and statutory reporting, preferably within a complex organization or group
• Solid understanding of the entire financial process, especially closing and reporting
• Experience working with SAP and MS Office products
• Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English
• Documented experience in consolidation/group reporting
