Company Description
Vattenfall is one of Europe's largest producers and retailers of electricity and heat. Our main markets are Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, and the United Kingdom. Within the Vattenfall Group, there are approximately 21,000 employees. We have electrified industries, delivered energy to homes, and transformed lives through innovation for over a hundred years.
About the Role
Are you a driven individual with a passion for the energy transition? Do you want to be part of a fast-growing organization that works with innovative solutions for a more sustainable future?
In the role of Business Developer, you will work within the DES department, Decentral Energy Solutions, which develops and sells decentralized energy solutions to customers. Today, this includes solar panel installations, batteries, and optimization services. Our department is responsible for the entire process, from development and sales to installation and after-sales. We work closely with Vattenfall's electricity sales organization.
The energy market is undergoing significant changes, which is reflected in our organization through a rapid pace of development and forward momentum.
As our business is growing and changing, we need additional reinforcement from an individual who will primarily contribute to developing our processes and associated system support along the entire end-to-end processes for our products and services. This means processes from sales and delivery of product/service to support and after-sales.
Responsibilities and Tasks for the Role:
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities in existing flows
- Further develop existing processes, including defining requirements for necessary development of our systems (primarily CRM systems but also other systems)
- Participate in development initiatives by creating necessary processes and driving their implementation. Ensure that new processes are anchored, understood, and used
- Ensure that processes and systems develop together
- Contribute to structure, clarity, and common working methods in a fast-paced environment
Requirements Specification
To succeed in the role, you have:
- A university degree, such as in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Experience in process development and process documentation.
- Experience working in and close to IT and IT system development.
- Experience in the energy sector is an advantage, but experience from other relevant sectors is also welcome
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
As a person, you are structured and analytical with a good ability to approach problems systematically. You also have the ability to independently tackle tasks, even those that are new to you. You have the ability to both dive into details and take a step back to see the big picture. Furthermore, we believe that you are a positive and opportunity-oriented person driven by development. You want to be part of a growing organization and thrive in change!
