HR Strategist at the Swedish Armed Forces

About the Department

You will belong to the HR department at the Swedish Armed Forces Headquarters, led by the Chief of Personnel. The negotiation work is handled by the Employer Strategy Section, which is also responsible for the authority's wage formation and employer support. The section is also the Swedish Armed Forces' contact point with the Swedish Agency for Government Employers. The HR department places great emphasis on working with knowledge enhancement and development in digitalization and AI.

Main Responsibilities

As an HR strategist, you will:

• analyze operational needs and participate as a negotiator in collective bargaining negotiations
• analyze, follow up, and propose changes within the terms and conditions area
• develop and propose employer policy guidelines
• monitor the Swedish labor market and research regarding terms and conditions issues
• support HR specialists and HR generalists in advising managers and the rest of the HR organization
• conduct certain training within the section's areas of responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Degree from a human resources program, law program, or other post-secondary education deemed relevant by the employer
• Several years of experience in negotiations within the labor law area
• Several years of experience in relevant, qualified work in an HR function
• Solid experience in the employer role

• Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good analytical skills. Ability to take a holistic perspective on issues and approach problems and opportunities from different angles, as well as see one's own role in a whole

• Good collaboration skills

• Experience in working with wage formation at a strategic level within the state

Employment type: Permanent, the employment may start with a 6-month probationary period.
Employment rate: Full-time.
